Flavorful Hot and Sour Soup

Ingredients:
- 5 cups water
- 1 cup tofu, diced
- 1.5 cups bamboo shoots, sliced
- 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 4 tablespoons water
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon white pepper powder
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Chopped scallions, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large pot, bring 5 cups of water to a boil.
- Add the diced tofu and sliced bamboo shoots to the boiling water.
- Stir in the chicken bouillon, soy sauce, and Sriracha sauce. Let it simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to combine.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water together to create a slurry.
- Slowly pour the cornstarch slurry into the soup while stirring continuously. This will help thicken the soup.
- Gradually drizzle the beaten eggs into the soup while stirring gently. The eggs will cook and form ribbons.
- Stir in the rice vinegar and white pepper powder. Adjust the seasonings to your taste preferences.
- Remove the pot from the heat and drizzle the sesame oil over the soup. Give it a final stir.
- Ladle the hot and sour soup into bowls and garnish with chopped scallions.

- You can add additional ingredients to the soup, such as sliced mushrooms, shredded chicken, or shrimp, for added variety and flavor.
